The girl who inherited the company from her grandpa asked me for help to save it from these greedy jackasses who didn't have any respect for her family's line of work. I'll be totally honest, I had no freakin' clue what I was doing at first... but even so, I could tell how dedicated she was to keeping her grandfather's legacy alive. She was so willing to believe in me that she trusted me with her dream. How could I say no to that?
So, we kept at it, and we both learned a lot along the way... long story short, we eventually became one of the biggest companies in the country! And once I knew she could handle running things without me, I gave total ownership back to her and told her to keep smiling, because she made her pops proud.
Well, it being a holding company means we had our hand in a lot of other companies... but that's a story for another time, heh.

She's one of the hardest-working people I've ever known and she always takes on way more responsibility than she really should have to. We're six years apart, so she's always taken care of me even when we weren't living together and she went to live with our mom. [ but he's busy looking at the jellyfish instead of ichiban while he continues. ] ...my mom left because my dad wasn't making enough money for us, and even after the divorce he was still trying to make his career work instead of getting a job that actually paid decently. So she started working to help us out. I'm still not really sure how she juggled classes and working nights and weekends, but...she's pretty bad about asking for help when she needs it and tries to do everything on her own though, like, all the time. She usually prioritizes the people she cares about before herself.
